Welcome to Keukenhof! Our few simple rules help protect the flowers and ensure everyone enjoys their visit.
Keukenhof has fewer restrictions than most major attractions — photography is welcome, dogs on leashes are fine, and picnics are encouraged. The rules that do exist mostly come down to "don't walk into the flower beds." See our visitors guide and accessibility page for related info.
A short list — most things are allowed
Photos and tripods are encouraged. Drones are not allowed. Commercial photo shoots require advance permission from the official site.
Don't step into the flower beds, don't pick the flowers, and don't pose between the rows. The growers replant 7 million bulbs by hand each autumn.
Well-behaved dogs are allowed throughout the garden on a leash. Free poo bags at the entrance.
Bring food and drinks (no alcohol) and use the picnic tables near the windmill — or just sit on the grass.
